Air One completed the installation of seven (7) rotary foggers at the recently built Stoughton C&D Recycling Facility. The system will provide dust control for the 38,000-square foot processing facility in Stoughton, MA. The Stoughton facility will handle up to 850-tons per day of C&D. The dust treatment system includes an automated control panel, remote controls and freeze prevention systems.
::: December 2006
Air One installed two (2) rotary atomizers at Casella Waste System’s C&D/MSW transfer facility in Auburn, MA. The MSW side of the operation also uses a venture pump and Air One odor control products to provide for intermittent odor control when odiferous loads enter the facility.

Time to Winterize
With winter fast approaching, many facilities should consider checking their systems and testing the freeze prevention components to protect against freezing over the winter. Checking time clocks, testing switches and motors for proper operation are among a few of the routine checks to be performed. If you do not have time or do not have freeze prevention components, contact us.
City of Keene, NH gets a retro-fit
Following the destruction of the Keene Transfer Station by a fire last August, Air One was chosen to replace the former dust and odor suppression system with a new one. Air One installed an oscillating rotary atomizer for the 7,500-square foot facility that can deliver water only for dust suppression or is capable of delivering odor control products when needed. This system can be adjusted from 0 up to 1-gallon per minute.

Air One Completes Dust Suppression System at TFC Recycling
Air One recently completed the installation of a dust suppression system at Tidewater Fiber Corp in Chesapeake, VA. The system was designed to suppress potential dusts and explosive fibers that may be generated by a state-of-the-art single stream recycling plant designed and installed by Lubo USA and Van Dyke Baler Corporation of Connecticut. The system provided by Air One utilized Disc Fans that can project a mist up to 100-feet at 10-gallons per hour or less with a uniform 20-micron droplet size. The facility also received a low volume medium pressure misting system to reduce dust emissions and add a slight moisture content to the paper being recycled by manual laborers and optical sorters. The dust suppression system is interconnected with the recycling system to reduce reliance of system operation by on-site personnel.
