Blow down systems
Because we use water as our primary agent to assist in the control of dust and odors, the potential for freezing within the system is high. Air One’s blow-down systems assist in the elimination of frozen pipes, nozzles, etc. in the colder regions during the colder months.
How they work
Our blow down systems use air to “clear” the water lines of standing water when the system is not in operation. A central air compressor provides regulated air flow at a set pressure to dispel water from within the system. This can be controlled manually and/or automatically depending on the system chosen.
Where they fit
The blow down systems are designed for use in colder climates where freezing is likely. Blow down systems can also be adapted to assist in eliminating clogging associated with nozzle type systems. Air One can also retrofit an existing dust or odor suppression system with a blow down system.
Why to use
Use of a blow down system will prevent freezing and clogging within your dust and/or odor suppression system. |
